Anderson Silva

June 20, 2012 by admin

So I entered a little design contest a couple weeks back. Sheppard Fairey did the new logo for Black House, an MMA team that has the best fighter to ever fight, Anderson Silva. The contest was simple, create something to pay tribute to Black House or one of their fighters. The Prize is Black House themed apparel from Roots of Fight. The contest was held by Cage Potato Check out the site. It was also cool to find out that [...]

Stacey King, KING 21 Line

October 19, 2011 by admin

I recently designed a logo and line of apparel for former Chicago Bull, Stacey King. He was a member of the Bulls during their first 3-peat run and is currently a commentator during Bulls games. His high energy style is being captured in a clothing line and logo call KING 21 based on his name and number. The designs feature big bold graphics and text highlighted by his trademarked catch phrases. The line is scheduled to be released before the [...]

University of Miami 10 Year Anniversary Logo

March 16, 2011 by admin

Working at Dreams has allowed me to work with some major college and professional teams. I have some very good friends that are huge Miami fans and it was a pleasure to put together these two logos for the 2001 National Championship Baseball and Undefeated National Championship Football teams. These logos should appear on all things Anniversary related, including some apparel I am working on which I will show in a later post.

Zonta

October 12, 2010 by admin

Zonta is a women’s empowerment organization that I worked for while at Folio. They needed print promotional marterials and even a magazine redesigned. I did the layouts in Quark but I wished InDesign was in available.

STATS Branding

October 12, 2010 by admin

STATS often gave out free gifts to customers in a variety of forms. The calendar full of STATS Facts was a popular one. I did the design and layout and we pulled from the AP photos for images. It was a hugely successful project that both customers and staff enjoyed each year.

Designer Dreams

October 12, 2010 by admin

While working at Folio Inc I was lucky enough to work on a promo piece for a Chicago Printer. The piece was called Designer Dreams, with the concept being if a designer could dream it up, the printer could print it. So we were given freedom rarely seen in professional projects to push the limits to new levels. We collaborated with several of Chicago’s top designers to create a true work of art. I did layout and my own page [...]

STATS Identity

October 12, 2010 by admin

When I started working at STATS LLC their logo was dated and boring. I approached the CEO with a plan to update the look of STATS to match the client list they served. Lucky for me when I approached the CEO he was writing a letter to another CEO trying to figure out how to NOT use his STATS letter head. The result was an updated look on the old logo.
